Lindsey Hawks, Rowing
The University of North Carolina and Wachovia would like to congratulate Lindsey Hawks, the Wachovia Woman of the Week.
Lindsey is a senior rower from Lexington, North Carolina. She occupies the port position on the women's rowing team and her Coach, Joel Furtek says, "Lindsey is the heart and soul of our team." An Exercise and Sports Sciences major with a minor in Music Theory, Lindsey is also a certified EMT and volunteers her time in the ER.
For her efforts, Lindsey received the Welcome Civitan Scholarship Award. Her love and passion for Carolina is second to none, as she is a 2-time winner of the team's Carolina Spirit Award.
Wachovia is committed to supporting achievements by women and is proud to celebrate Lindsey Hawks's accomplishments.
