    General: One of the Tar Heels' more versatile swimmers...three-time returning letterman...adds depth in the breaststroke, butterfly and freestyle events...one of the team's quiet but effective leaders...swam for UNC alumnus Dan Flack while competing with the Raleigh Swim Association.

    2005-06: Set three career best times at the ACC Championships with a 21.25 in the 50-yard freestyle, 46.65 in the 100-yard freestyle and a 51.23 in the 100-yard butterfly.

    2004-05: Continued to gain experience in his second season on the squad...was one of four Tar Heels to race in the 50-yard freestyle time trial at the ACC Championships...had his career best time in the 100-yard freestyle at the Nike Cup.

    2003-04: Was one of the busiest Tar Heels' competing for Carolina in three different strokes...set season bests in the freestyle and butterfly events against Clemson while setting a season best in the backstroke at the Nike Cup.

    Prep: Graduated on May 24, 2003 from the Woodberry Forest School in Orange, Va....swam his final two years in high school after playing soccer and lacrosse as a freshman and sophomore.... was named All-Prep, All-Central Virginia, All-State and second-team All-America...was one of the team's co-captains his senior year...member of swimming squad which won state championship four years in a row.
