General: Tops Carolina's preseason depth chart in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 1:57.88...is also sixth in the 100-yard butterfly...had a fourth-place finish at the 2009 ACC Championships in the 200-yard butterfly.
Long Course Highlights: Qualified for the 2008 U.S. Olympic Trials in the 200-meter butterfly.
2008-09 (Freshman): Placed fourth at ACCs in the 200-yard butterfly in a time of 1:57.88 which places her second in school history on the alltime Top 10 list...she missed the school record by only 0.22 of a second...her time was an NCAA "B" qualifying time...swam in the bonus consolation heat of the 100-yard butterfly at th ACC Championships and finished with a career best time of 55.33 seconds.
Prep: Graduated from Conroe High School in May 2008...swam three years for her high school's varsity team where she specialized in the 100 fly and 200 IM...member of the water polo team her senior year...swam four years for the Woodlands Swim Team where she specialized in the 200 fly and 400 IM...captain of her high school team...two-time state finalist in the 100 fly, finishing fifth and seventh in those championship meets...named team MVP in 2006 and 2007...qualified for the 2008 Olympic Trials in the 200 fly...spring nationals qualifier in the 100 fly and 400 IM...named to the Zones Team and All Star Team in 2004...National Honor Society inductee ...member of Mu Alpha Theta...graduated Summa Cum Laude
