Career Best Times: 20.44 in 50-yard freestyle (7th in school history); 44.90 in 100-yard freestyle; 49.28 in 100-yard backstroke (5th in school history).
General: One of the top freestyle sprinters to return from last season's squad...three-time letter winner for the Tar Heels who is also a strong entry in the 100-yard backstroke.
2006-07: Ranked second on the UNC depth chart in 2006-07 in the 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard back and third in the 100-yard freestyle...recorded two career best times at the ACC Championships in the 100-yard free at 44.90 and in 100-yard backstroke at 49.28...his career best achieved in the 100-yard back puts him fifth the All-Time Top 10...placed seventh in the 100-yard back at ACC's...tied for 15th place in the 50-yard freestyle...swam on the third place 400-yard freestyle relay and also swam on the 200-yard freestyle relay unit...finished 10th in the 100-yard free...his best of 44.90 in the 100-yard free placed him in the Top 10 Times for the ACC last season.
2005-06: Set career best times at the ACC Championships in the 50-yard freestyle with a 20.44, finishing 11th, in the 100-yard freestyle with a 44.92, claiming 15th and in the 100-yard backstroke with a 49.59, finishing eighth... at the ACC Championships, he swam the third leg on the 400 free relay, splitting a 44.78, and second leg on the 200 free relay, splitting a 20.24.
2004-05: Won the 50-yard freestyle time trial in his first ACC Championships as an exhibition entry...also won the 100-yard backstroke time trial...posted his career best times in the 100 free and 100 back at the ACC Championships.
Prep: Graduated from Souderton Area High School in June 2004...six-time high school All- America choice...four-time state champion as a senior...four-time state medalist as a junior and three-time medalist as a sophomore...also an excellent water polo player, making third team All-America.
