COLUMBUS, OHIO -
Alison Clemens turned in a 19th place finish in the 200-yard breaststroke Saturday afternoon in the preliminaries of the 2008 NCAA Division I Women's Swimming and Diving Championships at The Ohio State University.
Clemens, a sophomore from Staten Island, N.Y., placed 19th in the event with a time of 2:13.45. Senior Kelsey Morrissy also competed for the Tar Heels in Saturday's prelims and she finished 47th in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 49.92.
Junior Whitney Sprague and freshman Katura Harvey will compete for the Tar Heels Saturday night in the 1650-yard freestyle during the final session of the 2008 NCAA Championships.
