2003: Cross Country - Did not particpate due to injury...In outdoor - Won national championship for second year in a row in the 800 meters (2:01.16), breaking both the UNC and the ACC record...Won last year's event in 2:04.73...won the 800M at the 2003 NCAA Eastern Regionals in 2:04.26...Was second in the 1500M (4:18.08) and third in the 800M (2:07.18) at the ACC Championships...Set Carolina women's outdoor record in three relays at the 2003 Penn Relays, the DMR, 4x800 and 4x1500...Set DMR record with a time of 10:56.67 at the Penn Relays...Set 4x800 record with a time of 8:26.71...Set 4x1500 record with a time of 17:20.18...In indoor - Member of the 2003 NCAA indoor champion DMR...All-america in the 800M and DMR...won 800M (2:05.54) at the ACC Championships (that set a Carolina indoor record)...Also won the Boston Indoor Games and Tar Heel Classic in the 800M...Ran leg of the 4x400 realay team (Gainey, Flomo, Schmidt, Nelms) that broke a 11-year old Carolina record with a time of 3:35.01.
2002: In Cross Country, Competed in seven races for UNC ... Recorded the third best time for the Tar Heels at the NCAA Championship, 21:34.5, finishing in 140th place ... Had a time of 21:02.3 at the Southeast Regional which placed her 24th (6K), earning her All-Region honors ... Finished 14th at the ACC Championship with a time of 21:37.1 in the 6K ... Won the first race of the season at the Campbell Invite (15:07.8/4K) ... In indoor - finished season with three first place finishes ... Won the 800-meter at the ACC Championships with a time of 2:07.34 ... Went on to finish third at the NCAA Championships in the 800-meter (2:06.43) ... Ran the 800-meter leg of the DMR that placed second at NCAAs and set a new American record with a time of 10:59.76 ... Posted a first place finish at the Tar Heel Elite with a 2:08.96 800-meter ... 2001 cross country: Teamed with Erin Donohue to win the Charlotte Invitational Relay with a combined time of 32:55.05 ... Placed 12th at the Carolina Challenge (18:42.08) and 83rd at the NCAA Pre-Meet (22:54)...Indoor - finished second at the NCAA Championships in the 800-meter with a time of 2:08.47 ...
