Made nine appearances on the mound and worked a total of 5.2 innings • Also saw time at first base and went 1-for-4 with one run scored • Struck out seven and walked four • Posted an 11.12 ERA but allowed just three earned runs over his last eight appearances • Best outing of the year was a two-inning stint against Towson March 21 • Struck out three and allowed just one hit against the Tigers • Had one hit and one run scored Feb. 19 in the second game of a doubleheader with Seton Hall. Summer 2006: Was 2-1 with a 4.37 ERA in 22.2 innings for Fayetteville of the Coastal Plain League • Made three starts and pitched in six games • Struck out 19 and walked 10.
