As a Sophomore (2003)
Finished fourth on the squad with a .319 average and ranked third with 55 RBI • Started 63 games, mainly at catcher • Posted 74 hits, including 13 doubles and eight homers • Compiled 21 multi-hit games on the season, including career-best equaling 4-for-5 efforts against Maryland on April 12 and Princeton on March 19 • Went 2-for-4 with a pair of home runs against Wake Forest on March 21 • Went 7-for-10 with seven runs scored and three RBI in the series against the Deacons • Drove in a career-high four runs against Ball State on March 10 and East Carolina on April 16 • Doubled twice against both Elon (April 22) and NC State in the ACC Tournament (May 24) • Named to the NCAA Starkville Regional All-Tournament Team • Had five hits and four RBI in the Tar Heels' NCAA Tournament run.
