    One of the Tar Heels' top midweek starters as a freshman • Pitched in 14 games, starting seven • Logged a 4-1 record and a 4.14 ERA over 41 1/3 innings • Struck out 42 and walked just 22 • Struck out a season-best seven batters on four occasions • Earned first career victory with seven strikeouts over five innings versus VCU March 12 • Followed with a win, five shutout frames and seven Ks against Princeton March 18 • Struck out six in 4 1/3 innings against Davidson March 25 • Went a season-best 5 1/3 shutout innings and seven strikeouts in a victory over Appalachian State April 2 • Fourth seven-strikeout game came over five innings against Elon April 8 • Final win over the season came when allowing just two hits in five innings at UNC Greensboro April 15 • Pitched three shutout innings of relief at Charlotte April 22 • Made one appearance in the NCAA Tournament, pitching one-third of an inning against Mount St. Mary's May 30.
