A fixture in the Diamond Heel dugout over the last four seasons, Tyson Lusk is in his third year as the equipment/clubhouse manager with the North Carolina baseball program. He is responsible for ordering, distributing and maintaining the Tar Heels' uniforms and equipment both at Boshamer Stadium and on the road. Additionally, Lusk supervises Carolina's staff of student managers and assists the UNC coaching staff and director of baseball operations in all phases of the program. A 2009 graduate of North Carolina with a bachelor's degree in political science, Lusk served as the Tar Heels' head student manager from August 2005-June 2009 and was a key part of four consecutive trips to the College World Series. While a student manager, Lusk coordinated game day charts and statistics, video taping of practices and games and pregame and postgame meals. Lusk is a native of Winston-Salem, N.C., and was a member of the National Honor Society at North Forsyth High School before enrolling at UNC. |
