Carolina Unveils Baseball Hall Of Honor

CHAPEL HILL, N.C.- The University of North Carolina baseball program announced the opening of the Carolina Baseball Hall of Honor Thursday. The Hall of Honor, which celebrates the rich history of North Carolina baseball, will open Friday, March 19 before Carolina's game against Florida State. The Carolina Baseball Hall of Honor will be open every game day as soon as the gates open until the game's first pitch. The Hall of Honor shows a variety of Carolina baseball artifacts from their rich history of eight College World Series appearances. Different displays will showcase the Old Leaguers, Carolina's 17 First-Team All-America selections, College World Series trophies, NCAA postseason play, Atlantic Coast Conference Championships and eight ACC Players or Pitchers of the Year. Other highlights will include Major League Baseball draft board, bat and ball displays, CWS rings and Carolina Baseball tribute videos.
