    Tar Heels Scrimmage On Saturday Morning

    With just one week remaining before Opening Day at the Bosh, the North Carolina Tar Heels held a seven-and-a-half inning scrimmage on Friday afternoon that ended in a 7-7 tie.

    CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - The University of North Carolina has finalized the details of its annual baseball Fall World Series, which kicks off Monday, Oct. 12 at Boshamer Stadium. The Tar Heels will split into two teams for a pair of best-of-three series with a winner-take-all game seven, if necessary.

    The first three-game set will be held Monday, Oct. 12 through Wednesday, Oct. 14 with the second series slated for Friday, Oct. 16 through Sunday, Oct. 18. If the teams split the three-game series, a seventh game will be played Tuesday, Oct. 20 to decide the intrasquad event.

    All games will be open to the public and admission will be free of charge. The full schedule is as follows:
