January: Had 23 points and a memorable drive and slam dunk over 7-foot-7 center Kenny George in win over UNC Asheville • Took a physical pounding but led all scorers and rebounders with 27 and 11 in the win at Georgia Tech • Finished the game with two loose teeth, a cut above his lip and inside his mouth and a scratch across the side of his face • Scored 35 points in win at Miami • Made a then-career-best 15 free throws (in 16 attempts) • Scored 27 of UNC's 51 points in the second half • The 35 points mark his career-high in an away game.
