CHAPEL HILL - Sunday night's men's basketball game between North Carolina and Virginia will be played as scheduled at 7:45 p.m., despite several inches of snow in the Chapel Hill area during the weekend. The Tar Heel Express shuttle bus system and all parking lots will be operating as usual for the Virginia game.

Tickets will be honored as usual for the game and there are no plans for general admission seating like that which occurred during the Maryland game in 2000 that took place after heavy snowfall in Chapel Hill. Fans without tickets who are interested in attending the Virginia game are encouraged to check TarHeelBlue.com for tickets. The UNC Athletic Ticket Office will open at 6:15 p.m. and may be selling tickets returned or unused by fans unable to reach the Smith Center.

TarHeelBlue.com will provide any further updates and developments as they happen throughout the day on Sunday.
