    CHAPEL HILL - The University of North Carolina men's basketball team is the No. 10 seed in the 2010 Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament and will face No. 7 seed Georgia Tech on Thursday night at 7 p.m. in the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro. The game will be televised nationally by ESPN2.

    The winner of Thursday's contest will advance to face No. 2 seed Maryland on Friday at 7 p.m.

    Carolina will be playing its first opening round game in its ACC Tournament history. The Tar Heels' No. 10 seed is the lowest in school history. The lowest seed in Carolina's 55 previous ACC Tournament appearances was No. 7 in 2001 and 2002.
