    Sept. 1, 2009

On Friday night, some of the best players in the history of one of the nation's best college basketball programs will assemble in Chapel Hill for the first-ever professional alumni game. Because of NBA rights rules, there will be no live television or radio broadcast. However, TarHeelBlue.com will have complete coverage beginning early Friday evening. Our coverage will include:

  • Beginning around 6 p.m. Friday, Adam Lucas will be blogging live from courtside at the Smith Center, with photos and stories from on the court and behind the scenes.
  • Late Friday night, quotes and audio from postgame interviews will be posted.
  • Late Friday night, Lucas will have a postgame column posted.
  • Early Saturday, a complete photo gallery will be posted.
  • Early Saturday, video highlights of game action will be posted.
  • Late next week, the complete set of videos that will be played at the game--including a salute to the 2009 national champions plus a historical look at 100 years of Carolina basketball--will be added to TarHeelBlue.com's video player.
