    Speedster who is one of the team's top deep threats • Was ranked No. 7 on ESPN.com's "Freak List" as one of the top workout warriors in college football • According to UNC strength and conditioning coach Tom Myslinski, Boyd's score of 312 in the Max Jones Quad would rank him as the 22nd all-time best score among the world's elite track and field athletes. Boyd's Max Jones Quad score is based on his 30-meter dash time (3.3), his three jump distance of 34-6, his overhead throw of a 16-pound shot for 56-5 and a 10-11 standing long jump.

    2010 - Sophomore Season
    Appeared in all 13 games and started at Duke, finishing the regular season with 14 catches for 310 yards and three touchdowns • Also ran the ball 10 times for 62 yards • Had one carry for seven yards vs. Tennessee • Had one reception for 14 yards in the win at Duke • Also had two carries for 41 yards, including a season-long rush of 37 yards • Had a 1-yard carry against Virginia Tech • Caught one pass against William & Mary • Rushed for one yard at Miami and three yards at Virginia • Had two receptions for 14 yards and his third touchdown of the season against Clemson • Had one catch - a 25-yard touchdown - in the East Carolina win • Caught three balls for 37 yards and rushed three times for 11 yards in the win at Rutgers • Had one of the greatest receiving days in school history against LSU, finishing with six receptions for 221 yards and a 97-yard touchdown • The 97-yard TD was the longest play from scrimmage in UNC history, breaking a record that had stood since 1891 • Was just the fourth Tar Heel to top 200 receiving yards in a game.
