    Played in 11 games and the junior varsity game against Hargrave Military Academy • Saw action mainly on special teams • Played 79 snaps, including a season-high 17 snaps against Syracuse • Did not register a tackle.

    2002: Freshman season
    Played in six games mainly on special teams and as a reserve defensive back • Saw his most extensive playing time against NC State • Made a tackle against the Wolfpack and had one against Virginia.

    Redshirted as a freshman in 2001.
