    2000 • Sophomore Season
    Competed at the No. 3 quarterback spot behind Ronald Curry and Antwon Black.

    1999 • Freshman Season
    Moved into the starting lineup in the sixth week after a season-ending injury to starter Ronald Curry • Played in seven games and made four starts • Did not play in the final two games because of a bruised right rotator cuff, an injury he suffered in the Georgia Tech game and re-injured the following week against Houston • Completed 29 of 75 passes for 256 yards and one touchdown • Was intercepted twice • Threw for a season-high 101 yards against Wake Forest • Best outing was against Georgia Tech when he almost oversaw an upset of the seventh-ranked team in the country • Huard replaced Curry in the second quarter of that game and battled the Yellow Jackets into overtime • He was 7 for 15 for 45 yards and engineered scoring drives totaling 17 points • He tied the game at 21 in the third quarter when he ran for four yards and a touchdown and then hit tight end Alge Crumpler with a two-point conversion • Was 5 for 15 for 76 yards and a touchdown against Houston in his first start • He hit Kory Bailey for a 39-yard touchdown against the Cougars • Was hit on the shoulder late in the Houston game and did not have full arm strength the rest of the season • Made his collegiate debut at Indiana and had an 11-yard completion in the win over the Hoosiers • Played 227 snaps at quarterback.

    Gatorade Player of the Year in Washington as a senior • Two-time all-league quarterback and two-time conference offensive player of the year • Seattle Times Player of the Year in Washington • Seattle Post-Intelligencer all-state quarterback • Also an all-state selection by the Tacoma News Tribune and the Associated Press • Honorable mention All-America by USA Today • Led Puyallup High School to a 12-1 record and state semifinals in 4-A class • As a senior he completed 173 of 324 passes for 2,650 yards with 39 touchdowns and four interceptions • Threw for 6,305 yards and 75 touchdowns in his career • Rushed for 566 yards and 24 touchdowns in his career • Coached by his father, Mike Huard • Competed in basketball for one year and ran relays, the 200 and shot put in track and field.
