Moved to defensive end in the spring • Redshirted in 2004 after injuring his knee in August • Could have come back later in the season, but had a redshirt season available after playing as a true freshman.
2003: Freshman Season
One of 12 freshmen to see playing time • Was mainly used on special teams, but also saw time as a reserve linebacker • Played in 10 games and played in the JV game against Hargrave Military Academy • Had five tackles, all assists • Assisted on stops in games against Wisconsin, Virginia, Georgia Tech and Duke.
