2011 - Senior Season
Played in all 13 games and saw action on more than 25 snaps per game as the first defensive tackle reserve • Finished the regular season with 19 tackles, three tackles for losses and assisted on a sack • Posted one tackle at NC State • Recorded a 3-yard tackle for loss in a 49-24 win over Wake Forest • Had four tackles, including 1.5 tackles for losses, in a 14-7 win over Louisville • Posted one tackle in a 35-20 victory at East Carolina • Recorded one tackle in a 28-17 victory vs. Virginia • Posted four tackles and a quarterback hurry in a 24-22 victory vs. Rutgers • Carolina limited the Scarlet Knights to just one yard rushing, the fewest by an opponent since 2000 • Had three tackles and assisted on a 3-yard tackle for loss in Carolina's 42-10 win over James Madison.
2010 - Junior Season Played in 11 games and started two • Was typically the first player rotated in at defensive tackle • Started against Rutgers and William & Mary • Injured his elbow vs. Clemson and missed the Virginia and Miami games • Finished the regular season with 18 tackles, including eight primary stops and eight assists • Also recovered a fumble and had one quarterback pressure • Assisted on two tackles vs. Tennessee in the Music City Bowl • Had two stops vs. Virginia Tech • Posted one tackle in the win at Florida State • Had one tackle vs. William & Mary and East Carolina • Made three stops in the 17-13 win at Rutgers • Had a season-high seven tackles, including five primary stops, against Georgia Tech • Had one tackle and recovered a fumble against LSU in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game in Atlanta.
2009 - Sophomore Season Played in four games and made one tackle vs. Georgia Southern.
Northeast Oklahoma A&M College/MacArthur High School Defensive tackle who redshirted in 2008 after transferring from Northeast Oklahoma A&M College where he played one season in 2007 • Originally signed with the University of Oklahoma and attended OU from June-August 2007 • As a senior at MacArthur High School, he recorded 59 tackles (21 unassisted), 5.5 sacks and six QB hurries • Coached by Ernie Manning • Played in the Oklahoma Coaches Association All-State Football Game.
Personal Communications major • Considered one of the funniest players on the team in a poll of teammates • Favorite NFL team is the Dallas Cowboys because he was raised in Oklahoma and they were the closest team.
