Joined the team as a walk-on in 2011 Attended Jesuit College Prep in Dallas, which competes in the largest school classification (5A) in Texas Was honor roll all four years in high school and was named to National Honor Society Was a three sport athlete every year, a captain in two of the sports as a senior, and was all-district (at a minimum) in every sport he played In football, he was Defensive MVP, earned all-district (first team) and named all-state defensive back as a senior As a safety his last two years, he led the team in tackles, interceptions, blocked kicks, and fumbles recovered As a senior on the basketball team, he was all-district guard (first team) and was named District 9's Defensive Player of the Year Led the Jesuit basketball team in minutes played and was Jesuit's leading scorer during playoffs As a senior on the baseball team, he was all-district 3rd Base (first team), and was named Jesuit's offensive MVP Was second on the team in batting average (.460) and in on-base percentage (.545), as the team was undefeated in district play, third ranked in North Texas 5A, and went to to the regional semifinals His dad, Steve, played football and baseball for Duke, his mother, Donna, was a tennis player at Wake Forest and his brother, Stephen, plays on the Wake Forest baseball team Born July 8, 1993.
