Played on special teams and saw significant playing time at linebacker • Finished the season with 39 tackles • Posted two tackles against Pittsburgh in the Meineke Car Care Bowl • Made two stops at NC State • Had four tackles in Carolina's 33-24 win over No. 12 Miami • Made one tackle in the 19-6 win over Duke • Posted five tackles in the win at Virginia Tech • Had two tackles against Florida State • Registered two tackles, including a 1-yard tackle for loss, vs. Georgia Southern • Played well with a career-high seven tackles at Georgia Tech • Had two tackles in the win over ECU • Registered four tackles in Carolina's 12-10 win at Connecticut • Played well in the season opener vs. The Citadel with three tackles and one pass breakup.

2006 - Freshman Season
A converted fullback who played in all 12 games primarily on special teams
and as a reserve linebacker • Had five tackles, including three solo stops
and two assists • Assisted on two tackles at Duke • Redshirted in 2005.
Dudley High School
Had 165 carries for 1,148 yards and 10 touchdowns leading Dudley to the
Class 3-AA state final despite ankle injuries • Also caught 15 passes for
157 yards and two touchdowns • Coached by Stephen Davis.
