    Ebenezer Ekuban and Dre' Bly led the Denver defense over New Orleans 34-32 Sunday, improving the Broncos' record to 3-0. Bly recorded six tackles and Ekuban recorded a sack in the win.

     

    Sam Aiken, New England - In his sixth year as a pro, his first with the Patriots, the wide receiver caught one pass for nine yards in the Patriots' 38-13 loss to Miami Sunday.

    Ethan Albright, Washington - 37-year-old veteran deep snapper helped Redskins convert a 48-yard field goal in 24-17 win over Arizona Sunday.

    Kentwan Balmer, San Francisco - Rookie defensive end helped lead San Francisco over Detroit 31-13 Sunday.

    Dre' Bly, Denver - 10-year veteran defensive back recorded six tackles in dramatic 34-32 win over New Orleans.

    Jason Brown, Baltimore - Center, who started all 16 games last year at left guard, helped the Ravens rush for over 100 yards in 28-10 win over Browns.

    Alge Crumpler, Tennessee-Veteran tight end, in first year with Titans, caught two passes for 26 yards in 31-12 win over Houston.

    Ronald Curry, Oakland-Veteran wide receiver and team captain did not catch a pass in 24-23 loss to Buffalo Sunday.

    Ebenezer Ekuban, Denver - Veteran defensive end, who missed all of 2007 season recovering from a torn Achilles tendon, recorded three tackles and a sack in 34-32 win over New Orleans.

    Greg Ellis, Dallas - Veteran linebacker recorded one tackle in 27-16 win over Green Bay Sunday night.

    Madison Hedgecock, NY Giants - Fullback caught one pass for nine yards and helped the Giants rush for over 100 yards in close 26-23 win over Bengals.

    Vonnie Holliday, Miami - Veteran defensive end, entering 11th season in NFL, recorded one tackle in surprising 38-13 win at New England.

    Willie Parker, Pittsburgh - Experienced running back rushed for only 20 yards on 13 carries in 15-6 loss to Eagles Sunday.

    Julius Peppers, Carolina - Veteran defensive end recorded three tackles and a sack in 20-10 loss at the Vikings Sunday.

    Jeff Reed, Pittsburgh - Veteran place kicker converted two field goals in 15-6 loss to Eagles Sunday.

    Jeff Saturday, Indianapolis - Veteran center returned to the lineup Sunday, but the Colts lose 23-21 to Jacksonville.

    Gerald Sensabaugh, Jacksonville -Safety, who returned from shoulder injury after missing 14 games in 2007, recorded two tackles in 23-21 win over Indianapolis.

    Ryan Sims, Tampa Bay - Defensive tackle, entering his seventh season in the NFL, helped lead Tampa Bay over Chicago 27-24 Sunday.

    Hilee Taylor, Carolina - Rookie defensive end was not active in Panthers' 20-10 loss at Vikings Sunday.

    Jeb Terry - Offensive lineman waived by San Francisco August 2, 2008.

    David Thornton, Tennessee - Linebacker, entering his seventh season in the NFL, recorded six tackles in 31-12 win over Texans Sunday.

    Greg Warren, Pittsburgh - Four-year pro as a long snapper connected with former Tar Heel Jeff Reed on two field goals in 15-6 loss to Eagles.

    Wallace Wright, NY Jets - Third-year pro played special teams in 48-29 loss to San Diego Monday night.
