    In his second week in the NFL, Connor Barth continued to perform well converting two field goal attempts in a 30-27 overtime loss to Tampa Bay. Barth is now a perfect 3-3 on field goal attempts and 6-6 on extra points. Alge Crumpler and David Thornton continued to help the Titans remain undefeated in a 19-16 overtime win over Green Bay. The Titans are still the NFL's only undefeated team at 8-0. In other action, Willie Parker returned to action scoring a touchdown on 71 yards rushing in the Steelers' 23-6 win over the Redksins Monday night.

    Sam Aiken, New England - In his sixth year as a pro, wide receiver played special teams in 18-15 loss to Colts.

    Ethan Albright, Washington - 37-year-old veteran deep snapper helped convert both field goals in 23-6 loss to Steelers Monday night.

    Matt Baker, Buffalo Bills - Placed on injured reserve (8/26) due to a broken rib.

    Kentwan Balmer, San Francisco - Rookie defensive end in bye week with San Francisco.

    Connor Barth, Kansas City - Place kicker continues to be perfect on five field goal attempts this season, converting two field goals with a long of 39 yards, in 30-27 overtime loss to Tampa Bay.

    Dre' Bly, Denver - 10-year veteran defensive back recorded three tackles in 26-17 loss to Miami.

    Jason Brown, Baltimore - Center anchored offensive line helping the Ravens rush for over 100 yards in 37-27 win over Browns.

    Alge Crumpler, Tennessee-Veteran tight end helped Titans rush for over 100 yards in 19-16 overtime win over Green Bay, as Tennessee remains undefeated at 8-0.

    Ronald Curry, Oakland-Veteran wide receiver did not catch a pass as the Raiders only threw for 31 yards in 24-0 loss to Atlanta.

    Ebenezer Ekuban, Denver - Veteran defensive end, who missed all of 2007 season recovering from a torn Achilles tendon, recorded four tackles and a sack in 26-17 loss to Miami.

    Greg Ellis, Dallas - Veteran linebacker recorded three tackles in 35-14 loss to New York Giants.

    Madison Hedgecock, NY Giants - Fullback helped the Giants rush for over 100 yards in 35-14 win over Dallas, improving the Giants to 7-1 on the year.

    Vonnie Holliday, Miami - Veteran defensive end, entering 11th season in NFL, recorded four tackles in 26-17 win over Denver.

    Willie Parker, Pittsburgh - Experienced running back rushed for 70 yards on 21 carries and scored a touchdown in the Steelers' 23-6 win over the Redskins Monday night.

    Julius Peppers, Carolina - Veteran defensive end in bye week with Carolina.

    Jeff Reed, Pittsburgh - Veteran place kicker converted one field goal and converted two out of three extra points in 23-6 win over Redskins.

    Jeff Saturday, Indianapolis - Veteran center anchored offensive line as the Colts outlast the Patriots 18-15 Sunday night.

    Gerald Sensabaugh, Jacksonville -Safety, who returned from shoulder injury after missing 14 games in 2007, recorded ten tackles in 21-19 loss to lowly Bengals.

    Ryan Sims, Tampa Bay - Defensive tackle, entering his seventh season in the NFL, recorded one tackle in 30-27 overtime win over Kansas City.

    Hilee Taylor, Carolina - Rookie defensive end in bye week with Carolina.

    Jeb Terry - Offensive lineman waived by San Francisco August 2, 2008.

    David Thornton, Tennessee - Linebacker, in his seventh season as a pro, recorded four tackles in 19-16 overtime win over Green Bay improving the Titans to 8-0 on the season.

    Greg Warren, Pittsburgh - Four-year pro as a long snapper out for the season with a torn ACL.

    Wallace Wright, NY Jets - Third-year pro played special teams in 26-17 win over Buffalo.
