    General: One of several players in the hunt for the third starting spot on close defense...two-time returning letter winner who seeks to bounce back from injury problems which plagued him the second half of his sophomore year and forced him to redshirt last season...one of the most physical defenders on the team.

    2008 Season (Junior): Injury redshirt year.

    2007 Season (Sophomore): Played in six games before being sidelined by injury ...started the game at Maryland and had two ground balls and two caused turnovers in the match...those were both career high totals in a game.

    2006 Season (Freshman): Played in six games for Carolina including the last four of the season...started the season finale against Maryland in the ACC Tournament...had three ground balls and caused one turnover.
