2002 Season: Saw his playing time increase significantly as he developed into a dependable presence as a short stick defensive specialist...continued to also faceoff for the Tar Heels...played in 10 games altogether...missed three games at midseason with injuries...against Navy he won four of seven faceoffs and had four ground balls in the six-overtime win.
2001 Season: Played in one game as a freshman...saw relief midfield duty against Pfeiffer and had one goal, one assist and two ground balls in that game...also won five of six faceoffs in the game against Pfeiffer.
Prep: Graduated from Garden City High School on June 25, 2000...participated in lacrosse, soccer, golf, wrestling and track at GCHS...was a two-time All-County selection in lacrosse...named All-Conference in lacrosse as a sophomore...led Garden City to two county championships and the 2000 state title in lacrosse...was named to all-academic conference teams in track, wrestling and lacrosse...member of French Honor Society and MAST and Matt Minardi Foundation.
