CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - Three of the seven graduating seniors on the 2010 University of North Carolina men's lacrosse team were chosen Sunday night in the 2010 Major League Lacrosse draft and will join their chosen teams shortly.

UNC senior midfielder Sean DeLaney of Moorestown, N.J. was Carolina's top pick in the draft as he was plucked in the second round with the eighth overall draft pick by the Denver Outlaws.

Tar Heel senior defenseman Michael Jarvis of Richmond, Va. was the 24th pick overall, taken in the fourth round by the Chesapeake Bayhawks.

Carolina's other draftee was senior attackman Gavin Petracca of Manhasset, N.Y. A fifth-year senior in 2010, Petracca was tapped in the sixth round by the Long Island Lizards so Petracca will be playing in the MLL near his hometown. Petracca was the 34th overall pick.
