CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - Following its first loss of the season, the North Carolina men's soccer team (7-1-1) hopes to return to the win column Tuesday when it hosts Elon (5-4-2) at 7 p.m. at Fetzer Field. The Tar Heels are unbeaten at home this season and are 8-0 all-time versus the Phoenix.

Last season, Carolina posted a 3-1 victory at Elon with Michael Harrington netting one of the Tar Heels' three goals. UNC is 5-0 all-time at home versus the Phoenix and claimed a 4-0 win in the last meeting at Fetzer Field in 2002.

The Tar Heels are led offensively by freshman Scott Campbell and junior Corey Ashe, who each have four goals on the season. Campbell has added three assists and leads the squad with 11 points. Carolina has scored 13 goals this season and was shut out for the first time this season in the loss to Virginia Oct. 1.

UNC has allowed only five goals this season, with just one coming at home. Senior Ford Williams owns a 0.54 goals against average.

Freshman forward Kiki Willis leads Elon with seven goals on the season, while sophomore midfielder Brett Paschall has 10 points on three goals and four assists. Junior keeper Taylor Saxe has played nine games in goal and owns a 1.09 GAA.

The Phoenix has two common opponents with the Tar Heels and lost to both Old Dominion and NC State.
