2010-11: Missed the first half of season due to injury • Moved into the starting role at 125 pounds • Finished the year with a 3-6 overall record and a 2-4 mark in duals • Was 1-1 in ACC competition with a win over Shane Gentry of Maryland via a 13-6 decision • Pinned Edinboro's Bijan Banks in 6:12 in his last bout of the year.
2009-10: Granted medical redshirt following a season-ending injury after only two matches • Went 1-1 at the Hokie Open with a 10-2 major decision victory over Justin Branham of Liberty.
2008-09: Starter at 125 pounds as a rookie • Went 9-19 and logged an 8-11 record in duals • Was 3-2 in ACC dual action • Pinned NC State's Greyson Mills in 6:44 to help lead Carolina to a key ACC win Feb. 6 • Followed with an 8-0 major over Ohio's Tim Silvers the next day and earned ACC Wrestler of the Week honors Feb. 10 for his efforts • Also picked up league wins versus Duke and Virginia.
Prep: Three-time Louisiana state champion at Brother Martin High School • Received the Dave Schultz Award for the best prep wrestler in Louisiana in 2008 • Also played hockey.
