2009-10: Registered a 6-2 record as the starter at 149 pounds before a season-ending knee injury • Notched four consecutive victories at the Hokie Open but finished second after being forced to medically forfeit the final • Posted dual victories against Lehigh and Binghamton at the Northeast Duals.
2008-09: NCAA qualifier • Logged a 27-9 record at 149 pounds • Went 13-5 in dual action and was 3-1 versus the ACC • Recorded five pins, two technical falls and two major decisions • Entered nationals ranked No. 15 nationally at 149 • Claimed All-ACC honors with a runner-up finish at the conference championships • Defeated No. 20 Pete Yates of Virginia Tech, 5-2, to reach the final before losing to eventual national champion Darrion Caldwell of NC State • Took second at the Reno Tournament of Champions after posting a 4-1 record • Was third at the NC State open with a 5-1 mark and placed fourth at the Southern Scuffle with a 4-1 record • Faced a challenging schedule, as 10 of 11 losses came to top-20 ranked opponents.
2007-08: Posted a 22-7 record as the Tar Heels' starter at 141 pounds • Went 12-4 in dual matches and was 3-2 versus the ACC • Picked up two pins, two technical falls and six major decisions on the season • Finished third at the ACC Championships with a 16-2 major decision over No. 9 Joe Caramanica of NC State in the third-place bout • Also placed first at the Michigan State Open in the Freshman/Sophomore Division.
2006-07: Redshirt season • Posted a 5-4 record wrestling unattached • Went 4-2 at the Nittany Lion Open and was 1-2 at the Michigan State Open • Recorded a pair of major decisions.
Prep: Two-time team captain at Hamburg High School • Two-time Pennsylvania state runner-up, four-time Berks County champion and two-time southeast regional champion • Also won a pair of DIII titles.
