    North Carolina closed out the dual portion of its schedule Sunday with a pair of impressive performances in Charleston, S.C. as the Tar Heels defeated Sacred Heart, 55-0 and The Citadel, 26-12 to finish the year 6-14.

    Carolina To Close Out Regular Season Sunday

    North Carolina will close out its regular season dual schedule on Sunday as the Tar Heels head to Charleston, S.C. to face Sacred Heart and The Citadel in a pair of duals. Carolina will open the day against Sacred Heart at 12 noon followed by the regular season finale against The Citadel at 1:30 p.m.

    North Carolina split a pair of duals Saturday in Buies Creek, N.C. falling to No. 22 Northwestern 20-15 before besting host Campbell 31-10 to cap off the day. Five different Tar Heels went 2-0 on the day.

    The North Carolina wrestling squad takes to the road this weekend as the Tar Heels travel to Buies Creek, N.C. for a pair of duals Saturday, Feb. 11. Carolina will open the weekend against No. 22 Northwestern at 4:30 p.m. followed by a dual against the host Fighting Camels at 8 p.m.

    Tar Heels Claim 20-18 Win At NC State

    North Carolina registered six wins, including a pair of major decisions, to claim a 20-18 dual victory at NC State Friday night. Thomas Ferguson and Zac Bennett spurred the Tar Heel victory with major decisions to open the dual.
