    TALLAHASSEE, Fla. --- North Carolina (24-1) will look to rebound from its first loss of the season when the Tar Heels travel to Tallahassee, Fla., to face Florida State Monday night at 7 p.m. Carolina had its school-record 24-game winning streak snapped Thursday night with a 64-53 loss to Duke. The Tar Heels are ranked No. 2 in the nation in both polls for the 14th straight week. Florida State is 18-6 after a 63-52 win over Georgia Tech on Friday night. The Seminoles are unranked.

    FSU SERIES NOTES
    • North Carolina is 25-7 all-time against Florida State, including an 11-3 mark in Tallahassee.
    • Carolina won the only meeting between the two school last season, a 68-51 victory in Chapel Hill.
    • The Seminoles last win int he series was also the last meeting in Tallahassee, as FSU defeated Carolina 79-73 in overtime in 2005.
    • Prior to the loss in 2005, Carolina had won 15 of 16 in the series, including eight straight in Tallahassee.

    SCOUTING THE SEMINOLES
    • Florida State is led in scoring by Alicia Gladden. The senior guard is averaging 14.3 points per game and an impressive 16.2 ppg in league play.
    • The Seminoles have three players averaging at least six rebounds per contest - Gladden (6.0), Britany Miller (6.1) and Jacinta Monroe (6.5).
