RALEIGH --- North Carolina guard Cetera DeGraffenreid was one of two unanimous selections to the Atlantic Coast Conference All-Freshman team, the Associated Press announced Tuesday. The all-freshman team, which was chosen by the 49 voting members of the Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association, consists of DeGraffenreid, Boston College's Stefanie Murphy and Carolyn Swords, Georgia Tech forward Alex Montgomery and Virginia Tech guard Andrea Barbour. Murphy was chosen as Rookie of the Year.

DeGraffenreid has led the No. 2 Tar Heels to a 27-2 record and a spotless 14-0 mark in conference play. The Cullowhee, N.C., native has started 23 games since UNC lost senior Alex Miller for the season to a knee injury.
