Ringelmann, a Morehead Scholar, is majoring in American Studies with a business minor and plans to attend medical school. At UNC, she is involved with the Big Buddies program and has earned Dean's List and ACC Honor Roll recognition. Last season, she was named to the National Rowing Coaches Association's Scholar-Athlete Team. She attended U.S. Rowing development camp in the summer of 1999 and competed in the California Henley and Canadian Henley.
