CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - With the fall season behind her and the final semester of her college career just ahead, North Carolina senior Blair Meiggs talked with TarHeelBlue.com about highlights of the fall, expectations for the spring and her experience as a Carolina rower.
Meiggs, an exercise and sport science major from Camden, N.C., is in her fourth season as a Tar Heel rower, her third on the varsity squad. A three-sport athlete in high school, she picked up rowing as a UNC freshman.
After two weeks of racing this fall, the Carolina team is in winter training, looking toward its spring season opener, March 10 against George Mason in Lake Lure, N.C.
