The Tar Heels, who played ODU, Michigan, Davidson, Virginia, William & Mary and the host Blue Devils in a two-day event at Duke earlier this spring, have three dates remaining in the spring season. Five Tar Heels Named To National Academic Squad3/5/2012 Five North Carolina field hockey players have been named to the Division I National Academic Squad, as announced Monday by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association. Tollie Bell, Meghan Drake, Meghan Lyons, Marta Malmberg and Loren Shealy all earned the honor, which requires a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 or better through the fall 2011 semester. |
