    CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - The University of North Carolina women's golf team is ranked 10th in the latest Golfweek/Sagarin Rankings. Also, the Tar Heels are ranked 13th in the latest Golf World/NGCA (National Golf Coaches Association) Coaches' Poll which was released today.

    The Tar Heels have finished in the top three in all three of their tournaments thus far this fall. They tied for second place last weekend at the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championship in Knoxville, Tenn. and were the sole runner-up at the Tar Heel Invitational in Chapel Hill Oct. 3-5. In their other event this fall, Carolina placed third at the Cougar Classic Sept. 14-16 in Hanahan, S.C.

    Carolina concludes its fall campaign Oct. 24-26 when it participates in The Landfall Tradition in Wilmington, N.C.
