2011 alumna of East Chapel Hill High School played varsity soccer all four years played basketball until her senior year in high school on the pitch helped lead ECHHS to the state quarterfinals three out of four seasons team captain as a senior East Chapel Hill's Most Outstanding Player her senior year named first-team All-Conference her sophomore through senior years All-Region selection as a senior co-editor-in-chief of high school newspaper, the ECHO co-valedictorian of senior class member of Spanish Honors Society.
Personal
Kristina Caitlin Ball is the daughter of Don Ball and Hannah Adams was born December 20, 1992 in Raleigh, N.C. undeclared major has volunteered as a Special Olympics coach in soccer, basketball, swimming and track both of her parents played college tennis, her mother at East Carolina for four years and her father at the Naval Academy and William & Mary lists Ultimate (Frisbee) as her second favorite sport.

Section #1: Soccer
1. The best thing about being a Tar Heel soccer player is realizing that you're in the same program that so many of the soccer greats participated in before you.
2. My favorite thing about competing for Coach Dorrance is he demands hard work and a positive attitude.
3. Since last year the aspect of my training I've worked on the most is my positioning off the ball.
4. My best friend on another college soccer team is Gina Beer at UNC Asheville.
5. My greatest strength as a soccer player is my unwillingness to give up on a play.
Section #2: Interests
1. Away from the soccer field and academic pursuits I like to spend time writing and playing all other kinds of sports.
2. The best movie I've seen recently is Bridesmaids.
3. If I could compete in another sport at UNC it would be Utlimate.
4. The music act I'd most like to see in person is Lupe Fiasco.
5. The personal interests I have that might surprise my teammates is I really enjoy hiking and camping.
Section #3: Food & Beverage
1. After a game at Fetzer Field, I'd like to see a buffet spread at McCaskill that included Thai food and lots of pasta.
2. My favorite beverage is milk.
3. My favorite foods made by a relative are mashed potatoes and stuffing.
4. My favorite place to eat in Chapel Hill is BUNS.
5. My favorite guilty pleasure food wise is a bagel with peanut butter, honey and chocolate chips.

1. If I possessed the gift of time travel I'd like to go to the first Olympics ever.
2. My most prized personal possession is my journal.
3. If I could go to dinner with a famous person it would be Larry King.
4.My dream job is to be a journalist reporting from abroad.
