    Returning starter at the goalkeeper position • normally split halves with Anna Sieloff last season but took over full-time for six late-season game when Sieloff was injured • two-year letter winner • to improve her soccer game she made commitment to commute 578 miles one-way to Phoenix to play club soccer when she reached age 18 • her home community in Nevada is more famous for snowboarders and skiers than for soccer players • graduated from high school a year early to join the Tar Heel program • a rising star in the Carolina Leadership Academy program.
    Sophomore Season (2010)

    Played in 22 of the Tar Heels' 24 games, missing only Texas A&M and Stanford games • started 20 games, including the last 20 games of the season in a row • went all the way in six games, including a solo shutout in the regular-season finale against Wake Forest • played 1245:06 minutes with 21 saves and 11 goals allowed • had a 0.80 goals against average and .656 save percentage • matched career high with three saves against NC State, Duke and in ACC Tournament quarterfinals versus Virginia Tech • recorded the assist on Kealia Ohai's game-winning goal versus Miami • faced a season-high 10 shots versus Duke • compiled a goalkeeper record of 10-1-1.

    Played in nine games • started regular-season games against Duke and Wake Forest when Ashlyn Harris was training with the U.S. National Team • played a total of 298:37 • had a season-high 96:59 minutes against Duke and 83:38 versus Wake Forest • had a goals against average of 0.60 • made five saves, including three versus Duke, and had two goals allowed • faced 25 shots on the year • was part of seven shared shutouts.

    Member of Nevada ODP state team • a standout ODP regional player from the Mountain West • U16 & U17 National Team pool player • played for the five different club teams during her youth career, including Tahoe Lightning (ages 12-13), Carson City Wonders (ages 13-14), Reno 20 Sparks United Stamped (age 15), Las Vegas Neusport (age 16) and Arizona Sereno (age 17) • was member of Nevada state club team champion with Neusport and Arizona state champion with Sereno.

    Graduated from George Whittell High School in Zephyr Cove, Nev. on June 6, 2009 • All-State MVP Defensive Player on the pitch • set high school's records in track in the long jump, javelin, shot put, 100 meters, 200 meters, 100 meter hurdles and the 4X400m relay • played soccer for two years as a forward and goalkeeper • named to All-State first-team in Nevada both years while earning team MVP accolades • among her track accomplishments are a state record in the 4x400 meter relay, first-place state finishes in the 100 meters and the shot put and as a member of the 4x400 meter relay • competed in the Junior Olympics in the heptathlon • she was a Key Club, National Honor Society and FCA member.

    Section #1: Soccer

    1. The best things about being a Tar Heel soccer player are my amazing teammates and the pressure of wearing the Carolina jersey.
    2. My favorite thing about competing for Coach Dorrance is his drive to reach another level and never settling for average.
    3. Since last year the aspects of my training I've worked on the most are kicking and distribution.
    4. My best friend on another college soccer team is Ellen Parker of the Portland Pilots.
    5. My greatest strengths as a soccer player are crosses and shot stopping.
    Section #2: Interests

    1. Away from the soccer field and academic pursuits I like to spend time going on adventures with my best friends or reading my Bible.
    2. The best movie I've seen recently is The Cross and the Switchblade.
    3. If I could compete in another sport at UNC it would be track.
    4. The music act I'd most like to see in person is Sound of Music.
    5. The personal interest I have that might surprise my teammates is I like painting.
    Section #3: Food & Beverage

    1. After a game at Fetzer Field, I'd like to see a buffet spread at McCaskill that included fresh fruit.
    2. My favorite beverage is water (can't live without it).
    3. My favorite food made by a relative is Mom's chicken casserole.
    4. My favorite place to eat in Chapel Hill is my house when one of my housemates is cooking.
    5. My favorite guilty pleasure food wise is ginger snaps.

    1. If I possessed the gift of time travel I'd like to go to Biblical times.
    2. My most prized personal possession is my Bible.
    3. If I could go to dinner with a famous person it would be David Wilkerson, John Piper or Mark Driscoll.
