Member of Lonestar '93 Red club team since 2009 • led team to state championships in 2010 & 2011 • named to 2009 adidas ESP All-Star Team • 2010 ECNL All-Event Team selection • named best defender at 2011 UIL All-District event • honored on the 2010 NCSAA Youth All-Region Soccer Team.
Prep
2011 graduate of McNeil High School in Austin, Texas • since 2007 played right, left and center back and forward when needed • also played point guard in basketball and ran sprints and relays on the track team • had a best time of 12.51 seconds in the 100 meters • earned academic All-District honors as a senior • graduated as a Texas Scholar in the Distinguished Achievement Program.

Satara Melonie Murray was born July 1, 1993 in Brooklyn, N.Y. • the daughter of Glenda Prince • psychology major • senior acolyte at St. Paul's Episco-pal Church • played clarinet in middle school • her aunt, Melonie Murray, ran track for Jamaica.

Section #1: Soccer
1.The best thing about being a Tar Heel soccer player is It's UNC - it's the best place for womens' soccer - Enough said!
2. My favorite thing about competing for Coach Dorrance is he's honest and speaks his mind.
3. Since last year the aspect of my training I've worked on the most is my conditioning.
4. My best friend on another college soccer team is Tabria Williford at Duke University.
5. My greatest strength as a soccer player is my speed.
Section #2: Interests
1. Away from the soccer field and academic pursuits I like to spend time listening to music.
2. The best movie I've seen recently is Transformers.
3. If I could compete in another sport at UNC it would be lacrosse.
4. The music act I'd most like to see in person is Drake or Lil Wayne.
5. The personal interest I have that might surprise my teammates is that I freestyle.
Section #3: Food & Beverage
1. After a game at Fetzer Field, I'd like to see a buffet spread at McCaskill that included burgers, chicken strips and Caribbean food.
2. My favorite beverage is Sour Melon Powerade.
3. My favorite food made by a relative is Tilapia with mashed potatoes.
4. My favorite guilty pleasure food wise is Wild Berry flavored Skittles.

1. If I possessed the gift of time travel I'd like to go to WWII.
2. My most prized personal possession is my iPhone 4.
3. If I could go to dinner with famous people it would be God, Aaliyah and my Grandpa.
