    General Information
    Two-year returning letter winner who took a redshirt year during the 2009 season because of a serious case of ulcerative colitis • returned to school and rejoined the Tar Heel team in the fall semester 2010 • was one of the team's unsung heroes in 2010 as she moved into the starting role as center back after graduation and injuries decimated the national championship defense from the 2009 team • has tremendous speed and heading ability.
    Sophomore Season (2010)
    Played in all 24 games for the Tar Heels and started the first 21 games of the season at center back • was amongst the team leaders with 1,872 minutes played • went the full way in 11 contests despite dealing with her medical issues • finished the year with a pair of goals and five assists for nine points • served up two assists each in 7-2 win over Tennessee and 5-0 victory over Jackson State • scored her first goal of the season versus Middle Tennessee and scored on a brilliant header in 3-0 win at NC State • earned accolades on the 2010-11 ACC Academic Honor Roll • also a spring 2011 semester Dean's List honoree • named a CS360 Primetime Performer on August 23, 2010.
    Freshman Season (2008)

    Played in 24 games as a freshman and earned four starting assignments • started all three matches in the ACC Tournament as the Tar Heels captured the championship • also started the regular-season finale against Miami • had assists on goals in early-season non-conference games against Santa Clara and Fordham • scored goals in back-to-back games in the NCAA Tournament • scored the game-winning goal in the 34th minute of UNC's second-round NCAA win over Charlotte • tallied her second goal of the year in the 65th minute to put the Heels up 2-0 against Illinois in the NCAA third round • earned honors on the 2009 ACC Academic Honor Roll.

    Section #1: Soccer

    1. The best thing about being a Tar Heel soccer player is winning a national championship.
    2. My favorite thing about competing for Coach Dorrance is his Ansonisms.
    3. Since last year the aspects of my training I've worked on the most are my heading and my composure on the ball.
    4. My best friend on another college soccer team is Zaneta Wyne at the University of New Mexico.
    5. My greatest strengths as a soccer player are my heading ability and my long service.
    Section #2: Interests
    1. Away from the soccer field and academic pursuits I like to spend time reading and hanging out with my dog, Mara.
    2. The best movie I've seen recently is Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2!!!
    3. If I could compete in another sport at UNC it would be volleyball.
    4. The music act I'd most like to see in person is Coldplay.
    5. The personal interest I have that might surprise my teammates is my love affair with Dance Dance Revolution and Guitar Hero.
