Women's Rallies By No. 6 BC

North Carolina's No. 1-ranked women's soccer team fell behind in the 55th minute at No. 6 Boston College Thursday night but rallied to beat the Eagles 2-1 on penalty kick goals by Casey Nogueira in the 74th minutes and Ali Hawkins in the 81st minute. UNC outshot the Eagles 15-8 and had an 11-1 edge in corner kicks. Senior goalkeeper Ashlyn Harris, who returned to the team today after training with the U.S. National Team in Carson, Calif. for the past 10 days, made five saves, just one short of her career high. UNC improves to 10-0-1 on the season and 3-0 in the ACC. Carolina will travel to Blacksburg, Va. Sunday to meet Virginia Tech which is 9-2 overall and also unbeaten in the ACC at 3-0.
