    Active participant in the Carolina Leadership Academy as part of the Veteran Leaders program • Awarded the CLA's highest honor, the Tar Heel Leader of Distinction • 2011 ACC All-Academic Team selection • Team leader who has spent the offseason rehabbing after knee reconstruction for the second time in her career • Suffered a torn ACL in the NCAA quarterfinal loss to Baylor, forcing her to withdraw from the NCAA doubles event • Also had her freshman campaign cut short by an ACL injury against Baylor.

    JUNIOR SEASON (2010-11) Earned ITA All-America honors with doubles partner Lauren McHale after finishing the season ranked No. 7 in the nation • Also ranked as high as No. 54 in the singles poll • Finished the year with a 27-20 record in singles and a 34-9 record in doubles, including a 15-3 dual match mark with McHale • Earned All-ACC honors for the first time in her career • Played some of the best tennis of her career during the 2011 postseason, winning four straight matches in ACC and NCAA tournament play before being forced to retire with a knee injury in the Baylor match • Earned ACC Championship Most Valuable Player honors after winning clinching matches against Miami in the semifinals and Florida State in the final • Rallied from 5-3 down in the third set against FSU's Noemie Scharle in the final to win in three sets, 6-4, 3-6, 7-6 (3) • Scored a pair of straight-set victories in the run to the NCAA quarterfinals, including a 7-6 (3), 6-2 win over No. 88 Chelsea Preeg of Vanderbilt • Helped key the 4-3 victory over No. 4 Michigan with a three-set win over No. 44 Sam Crister • That win sparked a four-match singles winning streak that also included victories over opponents from Minnesota, Wake Forest and NC State • Defeated No. 100 Belinda Niu, 7-6, 7-5, to clinch a 4-3 win over Northwestern in the quarterfinals of the ITA National Team Indoor Championships in Charlottesville, Va. • Helped the Tar Heels qualify for Team Indoors with the clinching victory over No. 15 Georgia, a come-from-behind three-set victory over No. 97 Maho Kowase, 3-6, 6-3, 7-6 (2) • Defeated a total of six top-100 opponents during the spring season • Partnered with McHale to form one of the nation's top doubles pairs • Qualified for the NCAA Doubles Championship but was forced to withdraw after suffering a torn ACL in the team competition • Paired with McHale to defeat nine ranked opponents, including five top-30 foes • Defeated the top-ranked pair of Will and Oyen from Florida in convincing fashion, 8-3 • Finished the year with six straight victories and wins in 10 of their last 11 matches.

    SOPHOMORE SEASON (2009-10) Was a vital part of the Tar Heel lineup as a sophomore after recovering from season-ending knee surgery • Finished with a 31-8 singles record and a 36-9 doubles mark, both team highs in terms of total victories • Playing primarily at positions five and six, compiled a staggering 25-4 singles mark in dual match play, including a 16-2 record at No. 6 • Opened the fall season ranked No. 91 in the nation in singles • Finished the ACC season with a 9-1 record that included seven straight-set wins • Teamed primarily with Katrina Tsang at No. 2 doubles, finishing with a 17-5 mark in dual competition • Was also 6-0 in duals with Jocelyn Ffriend • Did not drop a set in her first eight singles dual matches, a streak that included wins over opponents from Georgia and Baylor • Her 6-4, 6-1 win over Northwestern's Stacey Lee clinched UNC's first-ever win as the nation's No. 1 team • Defeated Duke's Monica Gorny, 6-2, 4-6, 7-5, to help the Tar Heels rally for a 4-3 victory over the Blue Devils • Topped Estefania Balda of Clemson, 6-0, 6-0, in UNC's 4-3 win over the Tigers • Clinched Carolina's spot in the national quarterfinals with a 7-6 (5), 6-2 win over Florida State's Jessica Sucupria in the NCAA round of 16 • Ranked as high as No. 18 in the nation in doubles with Tsang, staying in the top 50 throughout the season • Played in just two fall tournaments while continuing to recover from knee surgery • After the semester break, won the consolation draw of the Freeman Memorial Championship in Las Vegas with three consecutive wins over opponents from the Pac-10 • Went 12-4 in doubles tournament play, partnering with Tsang, Zoe De Bruycker and Gina Suarez-Malaguti.

    FRESHMAN SEASON (2008-09) Finished the season with a 13-9 singles record and a 17-6 doubles record • Was a perfect 6-0 in dual match singles play before suffering a season-ending knee injury in the loss to Baylor on Feb. 13 • Also a perfect 7-0 in duals in doubles action, teaming primarily with Katrina Tsang at the No. 2 position • Defeated Florida's Jessica Alexander in three sets to clinch a 4-3 win over the No. 7 Gators in her final match of the spring • Ranked as high as No. 83 in the ITA national singles poll • Also ranked as high as No. 12 in the nation and No. 4 in the Southeast Region in doubles with Tsang • Posted a 6-6 singles record in the fall that included a win over No. 18 Ellah Nze of Duke • Won the top flight championship with Tsang at the Furman Fall Classic, defeating a pair of top-20 opponents • Also combined with Tsang to defeat No. 14 Schmitt and Soor of Marshall at the Kitty Harrison Invitational.
