Junior season: Enjoyed a career season starting 33 matches and appearing in 123 sets • Averaged 1.42 kills and 0.99 blocks per set • Named ACC Player of the Week (Sept. 5-11) after registering 1.70 blocks and 2.30 kills per set in two wins in the LSU Tiger Classic • Uncorked a career-best .769 hitting percentage and 10 kills in a 3-0 win over New Mexico State (9/11/10) • Followed that performance registering a career-high eight blocks in a 3-1 win over Rice (9/11/10) • Reeled in a career-high eight digs in a 3-1 win at Clemson (10/16/10) • Team's top serve specialist, leading Tar Heels with 24 serve aces in 2010, including a career-best three in a 3-1 win over Ole Miss in the NCAA first round.
Sophomore Season: Played in 25 sets appearing in 12 matches in 2009 • Posted 0.56 kills per set and 0.40 blocks per set • Came off the bench to post a .600 hitting percentage and a key block in a 3-2 win over Oklahoma 9/5/09 • Post a career-best four kills against Marshall 9/12/09.
Freshman Season: Middle blocker was a redshirt in 2008 • Will provide valuable depth at the middle blocker position behind seniors in 2009.
Prep: Four-year varsity athlete in both volleyball and basketball • Was a member of the Florida 6A State Championship team in 2007• Named the Gainesville Sun's Volleyball Athlete of the Year as a senior • Also named the Buchholz High School Scholar Athlete of the Year • Member of the Spanish Honor Society and the A and B Honor Roll.
