Erin Lindsey joined the University of North Carolina volleyball coaching staff during early 2005. A 2000 UNC alum and native of Honolulu, Hawaii, Lindsey replaced former assistant Jill Lytle-Wilson. Lindsey will become a volunteer assistant coach in 2008 while earning a master's in sports administration from Carolina. She will remain a valuable resource to the coaching staff and director of Carolina Volleyball camps. Lindsey was a standout member of the UNC volleyball team from 1995-1998. A two-time All-ACC player and AVCA All-Region selection, Lindsey was a two-year captain and the 1998 Atlantic Coast Conference Player of the Year. That year she led the Tar Heels to the ACC regular season title and the second round of the NCAA Tournament, the first NCAA appearance for UNC under Sagula. The program's all-time leader in career assists, Lindsey was named to the ACC's 50th Anniversary Team as one of the greatest players in league history. Erin is married to 2000 Carolina alum Harold Lindsey, and they are the parents of Alexis Ululani, who was born Feb. 21, 2007, and Kanoa Daniel Lindsey, born November 12 2008. |
