Trio Named To ACC All-Academic Volleyball Team

Feb. 11, 2008

GREENSBORO, N.C. - North Carolina's Stephanie Jansma, Lauren Prussing and Heather Brooks were recently named to the Atlantic Coast Conference's All-Academic Team for the 2007 season. Jansma and Prussing were two of 17 repeat honorees from a year ago. To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average during her academic career.

Duke led all teams with five academic selections, followed by seven schools that boasted three members (Boston College, Clemson, Georgia Tech, Maryland, Miami, North Carolina and Virginia Tech). Virginia and Wake Forest had a pair of members, while Florida State and NC State each had one.
